Did you guys hear this story. This man was going to take a subway to Queens to drop his two young girls off. When he went down on the platform there was a younger man who fell back and had a seizure. So right away he started helping the man who seems to come around. After 10 minutes he got up and all was ok until he walked a few feet and then he fell onto the tracks and there was a train coming. So this guy jumps onto the tracks on top of this guy and pulls his legs and arms in to save this guy. Once the police and everyone showed up he still was under the train and had to keep the guy pinned underneath until they could turn the power off. So thus they named him the New York Superman. He was on Ellen today and he had his girls there too. Seemed like a really nice guy. They gave him a whole bunch of presents so that was nice.

I never heard of this story until now. and that was very brave of him to help a total stranger. i don't think many of us would do something so dangerous like that. but i'm glad that there are still people out there that care about others, besides themselves.

I never heard the story but from what you are saying this guy is a true hero. I can see why they are calling him the New York Superman. I wish I seen Ellen today. I usually watch because I enjoy her show. This is one of the things I like about her show is she honours people who have done things to help others.
