An interesting simple God question

When things are going great, and wonderful the way we want, the first thing people say is "Thank God." When we go through trails and pain, God is yelled at. Why is this? There are two spirits. A good (God) and a bad (devil). Why doesn't the devil get yelled at instead?

I agree. I think people really don't believe that the devil is a real entity like God sometimes. It seems easier to believe in a good entity than believe a real thing does and makes bad things happen. It is easier to say God allowed things to happen rather than the devil did it. It's a human nature thing isn't it. I say thank God there is a God!!

When something good happens we tend to thank God for him allowing us to experience the good things in life and the happiness that we are feeling. When things are bad or tough, we tend to blame him for allowing bad things to happen to us. We should be thankful to God for allowing us to live and experiencing life. We should not be yelling at him or blaming him for anything. We should yell at the devil. :-)

it's human nature to blame at someone/something when things doesnt go as per expectation...and most of the time, we do take it for granted that God will answer to every prayer, not knowing that God will only grant it to you in His time...and as per His will. i do thank Him when i'm going through a hard time, I'm sure He wants me to learn something in the process

Fair question, I very much beleive in god down to the fact whenever my grandmother has needed him he has always been there she is very religious. My grandfather was dieing 14 years ago and needed a kidney transplant and she lit the candles and did her prayers at 1st the hospital fought he was a goner then a you laddie who was friendly with him left him her kidney and he is still alive now, i will never forget this women she kept the most important person in my life alive. I pray to god when i am really really in trouble which is not right i should do it alot more than what i do because he always helps me when i need him, but i never blame him if things dont go right the only person whos fault it is mines.

Just remember that He loves you, and is your Father. Our physical fathers love us, but don't always grant all our wishes either.

well Its a general conception that poeple thnak him when he showers with all the goods and get upset with him when things are not going our way. Well as far as my feelings are concerned and I really thnak him for all the goods but when things are not going the way I pray him more strongly so that he hears my prayers and believe me most of times things start to get better. THANKYOU GID FOR EVERYTHING.
