Well today I just heard some news which I would like to share with you and that is if you live in a dry climate like I do, stop watering your garden and save the water to hose your homes down before you have large expenses to fix the cracks in your home due to the weather pattern we are having around the world.

I'm in Australia and we have very tight water restriction. We are not allowed to wash our cars or water our gardens.Water is very precious here as we are in a drought.

water - the faucet located outside our house where we get water for things in the yard
what you've read about is true. water is precious. sometimes i feel bad about places experiencing water shortage and drought. our yard is filled with plants and i water them every other day if the rain does not come. but if it rains for a day, it's better. i can save more water. plus, we're lucky enough to have our deep well. so, we get water from there to water our plants.

I live in an area of the world where we have been blessed with tremendous amounts of water(many here say too much) and therefore admittedly spoiled about how we use our water supply. This past summer was a difficult one here on Vancouver Island (Canada) as it was a hotter and dryer spring than normal which led to lower water levels. We do go onto a rationing of water (which is minimal as it means you can only water your lawn or wash your car every second day)but nothing serious. I realize there are many parts of the world where water is a precious commodity.I feel fortunate to live where I do.
