There are so many offcolor or gross subjects listed. What is it with some people? An*l s*x? Affairs? cheating? g*y relationships? Is size important? Necrophilia? Give me a break! Can't we do without this type of garbage? No wonder it is so difficult to find good discussions!

Thank you estherlou for the warning, I too will avoid that area, unfortunately some people have no taste, or shame. I think that some feel the more "explosive and shocking", "controversial" and even "offensive" the topics of their discussions are the more responses and ratings they will receive. I have faith in the majority of my fellow mylot users having better judgement, sense, and taste then these.
I like to be selective in the discussions I participate in and try to begin ones I feel others can/will enjoy. I feel bad for others who have such narrow and decidedly "off-color" interests. Again I appreciate the "heads-up" -- nothing like running into an offensive discussion, to discourage you --- Don't let it happen, I enjoy your posts and responses :)

Thanks sunlightswoon, alexandria and oohcute for your support. I was beginning to think I was all alone in my thinking. some days it is really time-consuming to find a discussion worth replying to.

Thanks for the warning, I will definitely avoid that area. Unfortunately this is a large open forum, populated with people from all walks of life, I am not surprised that a
segment of this population has shown an interest and is in fact supporting those interest. Unless this site becomes a little more specific about what topics are allowed, I guess those discussions are inevitable...SS

Yeah, those are everywhere. I try to avoid them when I can, but if there isn't anything else as better, I just respond to them.

i haven't really check it out, but some of the topics you mentioned could be helpful for some people like the affair, cheating, and gay relationships. I don't see a problem with those, but then again, i didn't look into the actully subject of those discussions.

I agree. When I was growing up I was always taught that there are some things which should not be discussed in public. I never respond to these topics as I do not give two hoots as to how large their head, arms, legs or any other bioligical part of their bodies are. The mentallity of some of these posters must be very limited and until MyLot take a stand on these types of postings, then I suggest that we should just avoid them and don't bother to respond. Unfortunately, I have noticed that they receive quite a large number of responses.
