How often do you go to your parents if you are not living with them?

My friends neighbor does not want to go to his parents, he lives just a blocks away and few minutes drive away from his parents but he does not find any time to go there. I just wondering why he does not find any time to go to his parents. What is your guess why is this person does not want to go to his parents house?? Do you always visit your parents and how often???

i stay away from my parents, in another country, but i do visit them atleast twice a year. but it's more for myself rather than an obligation to them, because i miss them so much, especially my mom. and i do feel guilty that i don't stay with them and take care of them.

Dont be guilty for as what you said you always find time to visit and it is really good to show them that you cares and love them. I also admire people who finds time to visit their parents.

I visit my parens almost every day , they are 88 yrs old and both have Alzheimers and still live in their own home . I do not understand anyone who won't visit their parents , It is a very special love and friendship . xx

I dont understand also people that dont like to visit their parents for as a son and daugher they should really show love in return to their parents thru constantly visiting them.

I love to visit my parents and I really should do it more often. They live about 45 minutes away from me and I try to visit them at least every other week.

Thats a very good daughter or son to always find time to visit their parents I really admire such person like you and I hope alot or all sons and daughter will find time to visit their parents.

I see them very often day by day.Every time I pass their house to work and after that I drop at their house before going home.

That will be nice of you to always visit your parents. Just keep on doing that. In that way you always make them happy for constantly visiting them and showing that you really cares for them.

Well when I was younger I wuld visit my father when he called & wanted me. Sometimes that was every other weekend. Sometimes months would pass before he would call. It would hurt that it was not on a constant basis, it seemed like he did not want to spend time with me.

Maybe he really wants to spend time with you but maybe he is just busy thats why he cant find to visit you or maybe you should ask him to visit you often.

Some people don't want to visit their parents because they don't think they have lived up their expectations in life. Some just take their parents for granted. I don't get to visit my parents that often because they live 3 hours from me. I try and go as much as possible. You never know how long they will be there so you should visit them every chance you get.

Yes I agree with you parents should really always visited by their sons and daughter for they never knew up to how many years they will become together. They should give the love that they deserve. Parents always want to feel that their sons and daughter realy love them.
