the difficulty with laying that the subscious mind acts automatically and independently of our verbal lie,so our body language gives us away.this is why people who really tell lie are easily caught regardless how convencing they may sound.the moment they begin to lie,the body sends our contradictory signals, and these gives us our felling that they are not telling the truth.during the lie the subconscious mind send our nervous energy that appear taht appear as a gesture that can contradict what the person said.some people whose jobs envolve laying, such as politician, lawyers, actor and television annoucers, have refined their body gesture to the point where it is difficult to see the lie,and people fall fgor it,hook, line and sinker.

I so hate lies. I myself couldnt lie if i tried. I totally would give myself away..and be feeling so guilty all of the time...even just mucking around with hubby , when i try to deny something i cant help but smile! its shocking. Its true what you say about body language, i watch it in people, i can sometimes tell when someone is lying to me by the shape of their lips when their talking...strange i know, but usally spot on. Best thing to do is not to lie. Politicians lie basicaly every day once a lie is told and they get away with it, it then becomes second nature to them dont you think ?
