brad pitt as achilles / myLot

its been almost 2 years since the movie came out , i still can't get over seeing brad pitt cast as achilles! i mean , wouldn't pitt be more suitable as the womanizing paris? come on, in the iliad achilles, though he had almost feminine beauty , could lift a spear no other man could lift, and he saved the whole greek army just by coming out of his tent and wearing his armour and shouting,without fighting a single man he saved the greek army from being slaughtered after they were pushed back to their ships by an onslaught of trojans ! can brad pitt possibly fill the shoes of such a character ? i think an actor with no less than hulk hogans physic could do it .

If you have this opinion about Brant Pitt as Achilles what i must say?I'm Greek.I know our history better and believe me Brant Pitt for me it was the last actor that can play the Archilles.(this doesn't mean i don't like him but not at this movie).I don't know if you read Iliada but try it.

Thank you I actually read the iliad the first time when i was 10 ! After that , i read it at least 20 times , I love that old Bard .

Well I saw the movie and I must say Brad Pitt was excellent in the movie for the role he had done i.e Achilles . He was awesome. The pride and the moves a goddess son should have was awesomely performed by Achilles. He chose fame from family and fame and fought for the Greek's who couldn't have survived so long if he was not fighting for them.
