Love

"Love is the difficult realization that something other than oneself is real." -Iris Murdoch That just about best sums up how I feel about love most of the time - that in order to really love someone or something, you have to recognize that you can't just "shape" them however you want to accomodate your best interests but rather treat them as individuals who have a certain uniqueness about them, and that is very difficult because it is very easy set your standards or your hopes too high or have fixed anticipations and then be crushed when they're not met. But if you realize the realness in that person or thing and still love them/it unconditionally, then it is real love - yet it is a difficult thing to do; it takes a lot of committment, and if the committment and sacrafices are worth it, then it really is a true example of love.

Love is a life-long journey where all you need to do is enjoy and learn from each trip you made. It is a way of letting go of the real you.

Love is when you know you would do anything in your power (within reason )to keep them happy . When you think about them before yourself . Love doesnt' mean you always have to agree with the person , it's just something you don't have to question . If you love someone it is how you feel and you know how you would feel if they were not in your life .

My defination of love is: What comes straight from the heart. Think about it. Look at everything that you do and you will see that it all leads back to one spot and that is straight from the heart.

I think that LOVE is a noble act of self-giving, offering trust, faith, and loyalty. A person can not come to know in the beginning that he has fallen in love but he comes to know about it when he can not go back. I want to share a poem about Love with u: Love is admirable. Love is a feeling that lives in the hearts. Love is the feeling that gives the life. Love is one of the reasons of our lifes.

True love is finding one soul's counterpoint in another.I heard this in the movie "wedding crashers".(Ring any bells?)

as lov ehas many forms , so it has many definetions. it is something else when it is for a husband , different fo r amother and a father , a friend and so on. i dont think there is anythign that can define love. at lest i cant...

love is totally based on kindness if there is no kindness there is no love for example...If a man cheat's on he's wife he aint showing kindness or visa versa..Or maybe a women talks about her man and there problems to everyone but him that is not being kind either so i really think that if there is no kindness toward's each other it is not even close to the word love think about it...
