I am planning to do CCNA ??

friends i want to do CCNA , not for any job requirement or etc ! but for learning purpose ! but meanwhile is it really a fruitful course or i can managed it do any networking course instead of it ! and also what other courses must one do for achieving a level of system administrator !

you can do a course the CCNA course i have take it it;'s really great to learn.. 2 computers you will learn from it how to work with switches and routers u need a lab to do that.. you can find lab simulators if you want it will give what you need

why u want to do certification then just read the books and do the preacticals i u hv atleast 2 pcs at home....that is best way to learn.

You can Purchase training video CDs the best one's are Testout CCNA CBT CCNA and TrainSignal CCNA Video Mentor CCNA just watch videoz and get the basic logics and then get the book.

aside from ccna, some systems/network security courses will help a lot too. i believe cisco has such a course too, i just dont know what's its description. plus it would be a lot better if you know some programming languages
