Anyone Raise Goats?

Does anyone here raise goats?? We are starting a small herd. Getting our new babies this week. Plan to add a milking doe this Spring and next breeding season look for a meat goat Buck!
I plan to do NuBorians! Basically a Boer Buck crossed with Nubian does. I plan to use my does for milk. The babies we plan to sell the does as percentage Boers and the bucks for meat.
I am interested in meeting other goat people on here!

I am a stay at home mom and I raise goats for extra income. I have mainly Spanish does with some crossed with Boer and Nubian. I recently adopted a painted Boer buckling that will be one of my new studs. I currently have 11 goats and like someone else mentioned already: having goats is addicting! I started with one goat in September of 2005 and have had up to 20 at one time. Lots of fun and entertainment and great for my human kids as well!

Yes, I raise goats and I just love them!!! I will warn you, they are addicting. The milk is awesome and the meat is great too. If you are just starting, it would be a good idea to join www.dairygoatinfo.com. They are awesome people and are always willing to help. Make sure to do alot of research as goats do take alot of care but they are worth every bit of it!

I don't raise goats, I do have 2 females though, I don't know what kind they are but they are wonderful. We have had them for about 7 month's now. They are awsome pets. I don't have any males, my husband say's he grew up with them and don't want to get in the business of it. Check out my pics.
