Has anyone had a light bulb moment?

I'd like to hear from you...what was your moment where you made a decision that impacted your health, lifestyle, people around you or family? Did something bad happen to change the way you do things now or the way you think? Or did something significant happen whether good or bad help you make a quick decision that impacted your life for the better? Or even for the worst?

I had a light bulb moment not to long ago. I was pulled over by a cop for speeding and I got my first speeding ticket. I couldn't stop thinking about it for the rest of the day, and for some reason I decided that I would be a better person and motivate myself more. I made the decision on what college to apply to and I also decided to apply for Air Force ROTC. I don't know why this was connected to the ticket, but it was, and it has made my life better.
