As for the war on terror, I don't think that it will end for years and years. 911 will always be with us written in the history books. As for the war in Iraq, yes, I believe that over the next year or so we will be concentrating less about what we need to do over there and concentrating about what is in the best interest of the soldiers and their families. Especially now that Nancy Pelosi is in such a position of power, we will see less funding for the war and more troops coming home.

you may be true, but it more and less outlines america foreign interest, I think war is started because there is a clash of two civilization, and will these two can come to the terms again ?

You can't fight terrorism by declaring war on it, and dropping bombs in areas where you think there might be terrorists. All you'll do is to stir up the local people to supporting the terrorists - doing their jobs for them. Also, if you call it a "war", you're legitimising terrorist acts, and turning them into acts of war, instead of criminal acts. George W is consolidating support for terrorist groups in areas he's bombed, and is probably causing the terrorists to band together, making them stronger. It's abject stupidity!

Personally I think it will end when this world does if thatanswers your question. This world is just getting more evil day by day.

No. The War on Terror has been going on since the beginning of time, it had never been defined until 2001. The War on Terror is broadly defined as a global campaign in which all terror camps and terrorist harboring states are attacked and destroyed. By that defintion, we can go back as far as the Bible era to find fights that fit this definition. Going by the definition as more clearly defined in 2001, this is a war that will go forever and will only end when we achieve world peace, which we all know will never actually happen.

I am sure the terror will end one day and it is not far. These people have wrong intentions and there only motive is to create disturbance. The day when these people realize that what they are doing is wrong they will kill them selfs.

All wars end. This war may be a very long one, but it will end eventually. I think that if we pull out of Iraq, its new government will fall, but putting new troops in won't help either; it will just mean more deaths on both sides. I think we need to maintain a steady amount of people there and make some sort of permanent base there to keep an eye on Iraq's situation.
