I like that one the most when Forrest first gets introduced to Bubba. He introduces himself as "Hi. My name is Forrest Gump and people like to call me Forrest Gump!"..love the innocence that he reflects..what do you guys think?

Jenny: Were you scared in Vietnam? Forrest: Yes, Well I don't know. SOmetimes it would stop raining long enough for stars to come out..and it was nice. It was just like before the sun goes to bed on the bayou. There was always a million sparkles on the water...like that mountain lake. It was so clear, Jenny, it looked like two skies on top of the other. And then in the desert, when the sun comes up,I couldn't tell where heaven stopped and where earth began. It's so beautiful. Jenny: I wish I could've been there with you. Forrest: You were. This is my fav. dialogue from the movie..its real hard to pick one, coz every single one is so good. I also liked the most famous quote from this movie, " mama always said life is like a box of chocolates, you never know what you're gonna get"

I loved that quote soo much i ended up knowing it byheart :D...the innocence..makes me wonder if "normal" (as we put it) people will ever be capable being as innocent as the not-so-normal people

Yes he certainly does portray himself as innocent, and in this hit movie he really was a great choice for the part,I am also a great fan of The Green Mile in which Tom Hanks potrayed a jail warden. One minute you were crying and the next laughing at the mouse. The best part to me was when he I like shrimp boiled ,fried, sauted, skewered etc. They way he said it in its self was just funny. lifeiseasy

I love the innocence with which he speaks this dialogue. Quite humourous as well. :)

"That day for no particular reason, i decided to go for a little run. And when i got there, i thought maybe i'd run to the end of the town. And when i got there, i thought maybe i'd run across greenbow county. And i figured, since i'd run this far, maybe i'd just run across the great state of alabama. For no particular reason, i just kept on going.""My mama always said you got to put the past behind you before you can move on."I loved this movie so much. Its one the best movies i've watched. I think the above dialouge of forrest explicits more his great wisdom about life despite of his innocence. Dont you think that he is much more of a "fast-learner" than most of us when it comes to lessons we have to learn in life? That's why i love forrest gump.:-)
