Should we punish our kids?

In my opinion, if the child need punishing, than by all means, punish them whether by spanking, or just by time out. Parents should direct their children so that they know the different between right and wrong. If you ever dont punish them when they do something wrong, they will think everything they do is okay. It a parents job to direct the children in a path that is right and then, once the children knows the different between right and wrong, there is no need to raise your hands on them. Another idea, every child react differnt way to the type of the punishment given. Some children it takes raising your hand and spank them, some children it only takes calm talking.

Hi,in my view one shouldnot rub their ideas on children and pressurise them to achieve your goals.Now a days the I.Q. of children is more than elder people and let us grow them as per their interests...THEN there will not be chance of punishing or raisinghands on them...AM I TRUE..
