Has anyone else ever gotten chillblains? For a while, I couldn't figure out what the little bumps popping up on my finger were, but a bit of searching and a consultation with a dermatologist got me a likely answer. They appear to be a response of the blood vessels, often in parts of the body with poor circulation, like fingers and toes. I have rather bad circulation in general, so it's not at all surprising that I sometimes get them on my index finger when the weather turns cold. They don't doo much, but can be a bit painful and itchy before going away after a few weeks. Has anybody had one or something similar? Did you fnd something that worked to get rid of it, or at least soothe it?

Oh I used to suffer from chillblain almost the whole year through when I was in school. My boarding school was in the hills and it was always cold. It was so painful and itchy...ohhhh...was horrible! I couldn't wait for summer..and we had to wear socks all the time which made it worse for me. I got chillblains on all my fingers and toes. Can never forget them..hehe! Luckily I never got them after I came back home.
