Why is this so hard?? Can we be healthy and over weight? What about the Gastric Bypass surgery? Is it good or bad?

You can be over-weight and healthy if you consider healthy being “normal-blood pressure, no diabetes etc” although it’s not exactly being fit. Excessive weight isn’t put on over night, nor can you expect it to fall off over night. I’ve been losing weight this year myself and I can say the right mind set above all most valuable thing to have through the journey, and it is a journey, you’re changing your lifestyle. Try these websites www.3fatchicks.com www.sparkpeople.com If you’re after opinions of people who have had surgery read here: http://www.3fatchicks.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=78 For motivation: http://www.3fatchicks.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=199 This may be difficult to answer, I don’t mind if you ignore it. How much do you weigh? Surgery is a drastic opinion in my eyes, I’d rather avoid doing anything that’d change my body like that and I’d see it more beneficial mentally losing wit Hough such a procedure. I weighed 253lb and now I weigh 193lb it’s possible to lose weight, though it isn‘t easy, and because I’m a short dinky thing I have a lot more to go. Good luck.

Thanks Sunny. It is silly really to ever get into a state where you need to lose this much, though sometimes we become blind to ourselves. I can honestly say I feel alot better emotionally and physically now my eyes are open :)

I think the surgery is a last resort!! Loosing the weight IS very hard, but the satisfaction is the best high there is. I have been on a rooler coster my hole life. After I had my twin boys.... I lost a lot of weight! But then I started gaing it all back. I am not sure why. Now I weigh more than when I was pregnant with the boys!! You would think they would be motivation enough!!!

Surgery has risks and I have seen quite of few people have the surgery and still gain it back. So is it really worth? People are also under the impression that the reasons people are overweight are just the slow metabolism, over eatting and some may have thyroid problems. But in all the years of my own weight issues I have never heard people talk about the effects of enviromental toxin. Did you know that our bodies will produce fat cells to wrap around the harmful toxins? Yup and that is another reason we gain weight and have a hard time to lose it. And it is alot cheaper and safer to do a cleanse and lose all you want than spending enormous amounts of money and taking the risk of surgery. If I was you I would try all options before taking that expensive and risk. On a nine day cleanse the average weight loss is 7lbs. The cleanses (there are two, 9 day cleanse and 30 day cleanse)and they are so gentle on the body you can choose to do them back to back or take a break between them until you reach your goal weight. Many of the people I know have lost about 20lbs on a 30 day cleanse Wouldnt it be great to lose about 20bls before Christmas? http://www.trixy.isagenix.com

It is my pleasure. The sad thing is without this info many people who have tried with true sincerity to lose weight and failed because they didnt have all the info has lost a lot of confidence. And may have given up. Even many of the medical professionals have little knowledge of how toxins effect us. So how can they teach us?
