Im on my journey as a surrogate mother. I also recruit new/potential surrogates. I have come across a lot of people who think that what I do is wrong. And a lot that think it is wonderful! I have heard eveything from "get a real job" to "If God wanted the people who cant have babys then he would have aloud it!" My response was- "He gave us the brains to figure it out!" I wanted to hear more of what people had to say about this and why do they have the feelings they do negative and positive.

I have a really good friend that I have known for 18 yrs she is unable to have kids due to a medical problem. I told her that as soon as she's ready I will be the surrogate. I know that she'll be a great mom and she deserves to have the baby she wants. She is open to adoption too.

I would totally do it. As long as I knew the to-be parents were fit and able to care for the child properly. I have looked into being a surrogate...but at the time when I was looking into doing it, my partner did not agree with me. But I never got my chance to do it because after my last pregnancy, my uterus collapsed and I had to have a hysterectomy. I have seven children. And I must say, I enjoyed each pregnancy!!! And if I was able to and knew a couple that wanted to have their own baby but were not able to, I would be honored to help them. Because I tell you what, those to-be parents would be more thrilled with the pregnancy that I would be. And I loved it!
