What the best way to teach Kids they tables

I am finding it very hard to teach my Son his tables and making them stick.
Any ideas for improve performance!

tell him to do rote learning! Thatz the only way else logically it n to awould take time for your actually learn.

You can write the tables in bold letters in a coloured pen and keep it right in front of his table so that everyday he sees the tables in front of him so that he will be able to remember better you can do this for each new table
