Natural or Meds?

I am currently preggie with my second child. I want to go natural, like last time, but the last time I did get the demerol (i think that is what it was)for my contraction pains. I am not sure about going with it again. It did help me get through my contractions. I basically slept in between contractions. How many of you went natural and how many went with meds?

I had epidurals with both of my boys, but i would love to try it natural. My first one I was scared and so I opted for the epidural, my second one I had to be induced, and they encouraged me to get one, so I did, my next one (if I dont have to be induced) i'd like to at least see how far I can get w/out the meds.

This will be my first and I plan on going with the meds. I say if you can do it more power to you!

I had two fully natrual births. I went in open minded and would have been willing to take medication if I the need had arisen. My second birth was a breeze. Although it was quite intense for about 20 mintues, I didn't feel much pain prior to that. The baby pretty much fell out of me, and was caught by a nurse, because my doctor didn't have enough time to get to the hospital. Good luck with you next birth.
