What you do if start stop of your car at midway?

How you start your car if it stop at midway of the journey. We push it by hired man or by another car some yards and then it start again.

if my car is stop at the midway of the journey,
then i will tried it to repair ,if the problem is more serious then i can push it by hired a man.
