dual core and core 2 duo

can anyone plzz tell me whats the difference between intel's dual core and core 2 duo??

sir the dual core has an 800 MHZ Front side bus.it refers to the data Transfer between the processor and the other components.but a Core 2 duo has 1066 Mhz FSB.hence slightly faster.
