At what age do you think it is acceptable to become a new mother?

I think your age is not too important, but I suggest your age should be above 20 when you're considered as an adult and mentally prepared, but most community will accept you as a mother after you get married for sure.

I agree. I'm thinking that the ideal age for me would be around 23 or 24, after I'm done with all of my college, and am ready to start a career to make the money I'll need. Because not only will my husband be working, I will too, though, not while the child is young.

age is important if u r considering to become mother age is an improtant factor becuse a/c to age the capability to give birth and the capacity to keep the unborn child in the womb decreases it is dangerous to give birth to the child when u r old as the chances of ur survival is less and even if u r too old then it may be menopause which can shatter ur dreams so don't be too old to bear a child

I don't think that there is an ideal age that you can say is great as it will be different for everyone. I do think it is best to make sure though that if there are things you want to do with your life that would be more difficult with children you should try and do them first, like travelling for an example. You don't want to have regrets that there are things you haven't been able to do. From a health point of view I think 20+ and below 40 to give the best to yourself and your baby.

From a guys point of view, which you wouldn't see most times in topics such as this, I'd like to know that a girl is planning on being a mother after all of her goals are achieved, and unless you're extremely lucky, that's not going to happen until mid- late 20's. It's cool if younger people want kids and all, but I'd go for career goaled women before stay at home moms.

Wow, it's good to know that you have such a good grip on what you want in a relationship. I think that being goal orientated would make a better life for any sort of family anyone would have, so I totally agree with you.

My personal opinion is that it is not so much the age but the maturity of the heart and mind. Because of the immense responsibility which parents have to take on when they decide to have a child/children, one needs to think very carefully before making this decision. If a person who is immature and irresponsible have children, it is the children who suffers ultimately.

It depends more on your mentality and lifestyle than age.

There was a time that i read from a book that the best age to have children or mother if that is what you mean is from 25 to 30. At this age, a woman can produce the best. Not only mentally but physically a woman is ready to bear a child. And i guess that is very important coz whatever it is in your minds, you can transfer it to your child in the womb.

The acceptable age to become a new mother is from 20-23 or shall we say after you graduated college because at this age that we can plan and prepare for the future family. But contrary to what I am saying I become a mother at the age of 17.It was a big mistake because now at the age of 32 and my eldest is already 16. I am still pursuing to finish my nursing course. However, it become an advantage because my kids grew up like my younger brothers and sister and we really enjoy being like that.... Maybe age is not that important, it just depend on how a person cope with it.. Shall we say ideally what should be the age? good day.
