Anybody have any recommendation to prevent shin splints? I have tried it all

I am running in the "ING Marathon" in March. I am a fairly new runner and I have tried everything. I had my feet sized at new balance to make sure I had the correct sized shoes, I warm up, I stretch but I still get them. Any and I do mean ANY advice would be helpful as time is running out since I am doing the marathon in just a few months. HELP! SOS! and whatever else you say when you need help right away :) THANKS!!!
