starcraft have lots of cheats, even multiplayer sessions. zergling turning into mutalisk or guardian with no limit,invicible nexus, command center too close to minerals, buried hatchery. kinda cool! i think cheat codes doesn't matter . its the way you play a strategy game.

Don't use cheats on multiplayer ! You can use it on singleplayer but please don't ruin others game, if you're not good at the game you can practice ! Good bye, crazyrk.

I don't need cheats for Starcraft, I played it so many times for all this years that I know all levels... It might not be so challenging any more, but I can never get sick of it:}

I have the game starcraft and Brood War and believe me I wouldn't finish all the missions without the cheat codes :D. I admit that I'm a cheater. It's better to have, not to mention that it has a secret cheat where you can hear a hidden song. So I say better to have cheat codes in this game.

it's better to play the game in a fair way,and when u VS someone in the game,it doesn't work when to use code such like show me the money.only the condition that u VS computer.

I already knew about the cheats ever since Starcraft was released. And I use it to finish the game itself. I'm not going to talk big about it. Personally I am not very good at Blizzard's RTS games. Be it since the first Warcraft series or Starcraft, I just can't tackle the real tactics and concepts on how to play the game excellently. I prefer Command and Conquer series though, been playing it since the existence of Westwood Studio. I find it easier to master C&C compared to Blizzard's RTS game. Well, probably that just me. :D

I think it's better not to play with cheats, when I was young I got hooked to cheats and I didn't actually play, it was a matter of typing fast and that's it, not interesting. by the way, the main cheats: Power overwhelming - God cheat. Something for nothing - improvements (shields and stuff, write 3 times). Show me the money - 10,000 minerals and vespine gas Food for thought - don't have to build houses in order to train units. medieval man - special abilities are obtained by units (like the zerg with digging) modify the phase variance - able to build everything without building another building first. operation cwal - faster training and building. black sheep wall - reveal map. there is no cow level - wins the stage.

since the game was launched, always there were cheat codes, i used them sometimes, i wll not deny it, but i think is better if you don't use them, cause then all your skills will improve and you will get better in the game

No, there is no need for cheats, because AI player ain`t that impossible to beat. And in multiplayer games cheats are disabled. And if you use maphack or other cheat programs, it's just sick. BTW if you have no skills and you use maphack, you still won`t beat a good player. Just train your skills, there are useful programs like BWchart which measures your APM (actions per minute), your mineral gain, actions of game. Main point - just be fast, use your money (never let the resources be more than 500) and scout. That's all. Good Luck!
