applying for a credit card.is it possible through online?

i don't have any idea or knowledge about credit or debit cards.how to apply for it?which bank will be safer?is it possible to do it by online?any help is appreciated.

i don't think so.better apply it in person as there is a possibility of stealing your personal information through online.
