There are hints about a horcrux in book 6!!!! or so says JKR

i got this interesting bit of information from my roommate...
he is most reliable in these matters, so i ask all you HP fans out there to help each other find out what it is...
Please give me your guess and an explanation too..

This is the first I've actually heard of hints of another horcrux in book six. So of course, I really don't have guesses on what a horcrux could be..one that was hinted at in book 6 anyway. I've always had a feeling it'd be interesting if Harry was a horcrux himself.

I dont think that can be a possibility, cause dumbledore said that voldemort would not use a living thing as a horcrux if he could not keep it near him, also he has been trying to destroy harry and not to keep him safe!!! so that possibility is ruled out!!! it has to be a thing which is kind of casual , but talked about a lot... thats what i think!!!

Harry can't be a Horcrux for the simple fact that Harry has to be the one to kill Voldrmort and if Harry is a Horcrux as long as Harry is alive Voldermort cant die. Also if Harry was a Horcrux then Voldermort would not be trying to kill Harry because in essence he would be killing a piece of himself as well.

I think the new horcrux maybe the one Tom got as a reward for his services to the school. Its a wild guess..but still a possibilty. :)

In the HP universe, a horcrux is a magical ogject created through the use of the Dark Arts: a "receptacle in which a Dark wizaed has hidden a fragment of his soul for the purposes of attaining immortality."

Aside from Tom's trophy, I can't think of anything else that may be a possible horcrux in book 6. But I remember Dumbledore mentioning a number of things tha could possibly be a Horcrux like Helga Hufflepuff's cup so perhaps those are the hints that JK mentioned. Maybe I'll read the book again and find some more hints towards the remaining horcruxes... ;)
