T shirts are too big

If you have access to a serger then altering T-shirts are easy. Just cut off the T-shirt to almost the length you want it to be then serger the bottom this finishes the edge. You cna turn it under ans sew it with a hem or leave the serged edge showing. Or if you just want to cut it off and don't mind the end of the shirt rolling a bit then you can just cut it off to the length or a little longer for the rolling. Since it is a knit material it won't unravel like woven material does.
