I also use Limewire. It's fast, easy to use, and reliable. I've been using it since 2005. It also allows me to find music from all of the world. I only download things that I can not find in Canadian music stores.

If you want to get into some really good reliable peer to peer networking then using a site that allows torrents is the only way to go. You can try a torrent client like bitlord or bitcomet. It takes a little time to get use to using torrents and you will need some other software to unzip some of the files but it is worth it.

Just a comment on BitLord, if you're going to use one, you should probably go for BitComet. BitLord, atleast last time I checked (Which was quite a while ago) was just BitComet with some tweaks. Another thing, BitComet has a somewhat bad track record. It's banned from many private torrent sites, and a client (BitTornado) has gone as far as to ban BitComet connections to the client its self. However, if you're not looking to get on private trackers, then BitComet may suit you. If you are though, you may want to look into uTorrent (utorrent.com), or Azureus (azureus.sourceforge.net).

Yes, I use Bearshare and Limewire. They both have good speeds but I think Bearshare is better than Limewire.

well i know about peer to peer protocol but i thnk there are two types of services in it connection oriented and connectionless oriented if i`m not wrong. wireless protocol can be used. and end-to-end and hop-to-hop are two types under peer to peer protocol. thx. Good day!

I pretty much use BitTorrent exclusively. Although I've had experience with many of the other networks, and hold SoulSeek in high regard.

it is like a network of computers which share resources. if you have not been downloading anything online then you must not have heard of it.

every peer to peer network has its own speciality. I prefer limewire because of its hi speed download. torrents are best in terms of results(links)you will find maximum link on torrents!!!!!!!!!
