Hello I have been on rebif for a month now Luckily the only side effect has been headaches which have let up some I know loiver damnage is possible but I am hoping it will not be so If it will slow down my relapses I will be happy i find though it has lowered my white blood count because for last two weeks I have been sick with flu, sore throat cold It is just hanging on BUT.... I am still walking and seeing and functioning semi-normally I used to be on Copaxone and had more side effects from it i did not like it

I started out in 1998 taking Avonex and the side effects were horrible (I'd get the shot Friday night and could barely function for three days straight, hard to do with an active 5-year-old). I stopped it several years later and saw a new doctor in 2004; she pushed me for nearly a year before I began taking Rebif. I take the highest dosage (44mcg) but I'm only having site injection problems (the sites itch horribly!), nothing else. I keep losing the scrip to go have my bloodwork checked; I'll probably pick up another one soon enough (when I knew where to go, I'd get it before and never had a problem). It could be that your body's still adjusting to the new medication or that you're getting the flu. Good luck!

I Have been on Rebif for about a Year Now and Have had only one Relapse so far and Just hadmy Liver checked and all was well with it.As for the Side effects I only get a Runny Nose but I take some aleve about an hour before I injest myself and then take lunesta to help me sleep so that helps me out alot since I have problems sleeping and also with Spacticity. also like the idea of only sticking myself 3 times a week since I cannot stand needles at all. Have a Great Day/Night
