Leaving the house in your Pajamas.... appropriate or not?

Have you ever left the house in your pajamas in a non-emergency situation. Im not talking about college students who do this kind of thing all the time. For example I work at home and some days the only things I do for the whole day is to drop my son off and pick him up from school so sometimes I just throw on a pair of flannel pants and a sweat shirt and go. Which seems sillier, leaving the house with flannel pants and a sweatshirt or getting fully dressed to do nothing more than sit in your car for 10 mins?

i do it often, i'm not trying to get all dressed up to run to walmart and buy diapers! or if i go pick up my son from school, i don't get out, so why not! i don't think it's a problem, if people don't like it then they can go buy me some nice clothes to wear everyday!

well ive been out in my pyjamas quite a few times only to the shop which is a 2 minute walk from my home, i don't see a problem with walking out with pyjamas on but i always wear a long coat when i do, becuase ive had some people give me the dirty look a few times, as if to stay what a shameless idea, lol! :(

if I know i am in the car, you might catch me in pajama bottoms and a white tee..depending on the time of year, it might be a white cami tee...i've even worn them to work..and nobody seems to mind..in fact, they started doing it since they saw how comfortable it can be...
