Apparently, a woman who was admitted to the hospital with only a bad migraine headache ended up staying longer when a TV unexpectedly fell on her head. Sharron Blake was ready to leave the hospital when she tried to move the TV, which was on an adjustable arm above her head, and it fell on her. She was left mildly concussed, but I would imagine that she is going to be fine. Wow! She goes in for a migraine and then ends up with a worse headache AND a concussion. Can you say, Free Meds!!! LOL I don't think I will be touching those TV's in the future! I always thought that looked unsafe to begin with...but now, I will prbably not allow anyone to touch them!!!

You're telling me! And it's really ironic, as well. I mean, go in for a headache and have something fall on your head? It's just too strange! LOL ^_^

Why on earth did she try to love the TV by herself? She should have called a nurse and gotten someone to move it for her. I feel bad for her, but that was a foolish thing for her to do.

This is a fluke I am sure. It is a little funny though. I hope that her bills are all paid for. The television should have been put up better so that you could not move it no matter what. I will be very carefull when I go to the hospital now to make sure I touch nothing because when they say I can go I want to go. I really hate hospitals. I am srue Sharron Blake really hates hospitals now too.

whoa! what are the odds of that happening? hahaha! her headache went from bad to worse. man, that's a lawsuit magnet. the hospital better do everything they can to please her and to lessen that itchy lawsuit signing hand that she may most likely have. hehe.

What a freak accident! Now she really has a reason for her headache! I would imagine that the hospital is really giving her the VIP treatment now!

I had not read about that thanks for sharing this with us. Could you imagine going to the hospital for migraine and ending up being hit in the head by a TV. I would imagine she did almost blackout after being hit on the left side of her head by a TV.

Ouch!!! When it rains it pours. Perhaps they never found out what causes her migraines and after the tv fell on her they had to do more xrays and discovered the reason at last. Or maybe she has no insurance and now the hospital will pick up her tab for her hospital stay. Maybe she has such a terrible husband he gave her a terrible headache, she got to escape from him for awhile and the thought of going back home caused the accident to occur. Purely spectualtion but there are no accidents!!!!

You know, I've always been a bit wary of those TVs. I've had the fortune to have thus far avoided needing surgery for any reason, but if I ever end up in a hospital bed with a TV on an extending arm... Perhaps I should let my loved ones know ahead of time that they should keep all precariously perched TVs away from me!

That is just terrible. What a thing to happen. Atleast she was in a hospital however so nothing else terrible could have happened to her. That is definitely one woman with a lot of bad luck.
