Where Do The Dead Go?

Whosoever is born is destined to die one day. But while we see men and animals dying and dead around us, we hardly find birds and wild animals in such a state. Barring a few instances of birds dying due to the electric current, I have not seen any bird or wild animal lying naturally dead. I am sure they must not be dying and decaying instantly. They must also be undergoing a reasanable period of illness like human beings, before dying. Can someone educate me on the topic please?

but i think we dont see people lying around dying from illness either, except in war or famine. people die in their homes or hospitals... away from the others, i believe so do the birds and animals.
