I started to read the other responses before answering your question and stopped myself. I don't want to know if someone else says this or not. I think that the first thing I would do would be to bring the entire world under one global government. I would put an abrupt end to individual governments and the petty bickering that goes on between them. I would immediately begin to share global resources equally around the world and put an end to hunger and shortages. I would put harsh regulations on our natural resources, limiting the amount of money that could be charged for things like gasoline, electricity and natural gas. I would create global task forces to work on pollution issues and would actively impliment the solutions that they came up with, testing them in different locations around the world until something was found that worked. I would encourage travel and tolerance between all cultures and encourage everyone to learn the most widely used language in the world, whatever that is, even if it wasn't english. I would encourage education and work to reduce the costs of that education so that it would be more accessible to lower income families. I would abolish ALL nuclear weapons and see to it that they were destroyed, period. Then, once everything settled down, I would put and end to money... ideally, that is.

I am voting for you if you run for office. There is so much truth in what you have said. I really appreciate the thought you put in your posts. I think it is one of the reasons your posts are in my top FAVORITES.

Its funny because we want to see more women run but we dont want to. LOL we know that are some people who belong in certain areas and some who dont. I know that women will be more involved now but I would never want to be in that position.

I would create more free enterprise. Entrepreneur's would help create new business and new jobs. This would boost economies and create more wealth. I would let free enterprise handle most of the responsibilities that government's handle now. I would want less government in the world. They never solve problems, but only create more by taking from the haves and giving to the have nots. By allowing people to be able to create and invent without interference from government. To help to get people's standard of living higher, you need to create wealth without outside interference. No more government handouts where people come to depend on them and do not themselves become self-suffecient. The free enterprise system works when it is allowed to work on its own. Good businesses survive and bad ones don't. A person needs to believe that he is free to create his own wealth and happiness and not have government or some special interest group there to take it away and give it to someone else who hasn't worked to earn it. To start a change of this enormity, how people think and relate to one another would have to change. You can only change the world one person at a time. How did the US become such a prosperous nation? Many other countries have been around for hundreds of years longer and still wallow in despair. Free enterprise and the capitalist system are the answer. They may not be perfect, but compared to what goes on today, they are the best choice. Look at China for a perfect example of free enterprise striving to be born in a socialist country.

I have to agree with you. Sometimes not only does the government not really help but they are better at creating ways to take our money as opossed to helping us create wealth or to help us maintain it. There should be alot more backing for small business and tax breaks. It would encourage more people to establish great comapnies that grow and hire people. I also feel that all the college students with all the degrees could use their education to create these companies.
