making tunnel from this side of the earth up to the opposite side of earth

If you make a straight hole in the ground until it reach the other side of earth and when a man jumps in it.. what happen to the man.. will he pop out to the other side towards the sky? assuming he have suit that resist friction and air supply to breath and protection so he wont burn when he reach the center of earth.

quite strange, may be he will reach on the other side, but it will take a long time. thats just an immagination, may be if i start from my house i might end up reaching yours. but generaly it is not possible.
