I have a Christian friend that married a muslim, they have a healthy mutual respect for the differences in their beliefs. They are a very happy couple and have a couple of children. The only HUGE difference and concern of my friend is that her husband will not allow the children to attend her church. That may change in time I think. Although they have these differences in Faith, they appear to have a happy and healthy relationship. As for me no I wouldn't I think for me that differences might be 2 great. Although affairs of the heart have a way of changing things :)

I think you summed it up best with that statement.
Affairs of the heart have a way of changing things.

I, as a christian am unable to marry a muslim. One reason is, i wouldn't want to change my faith. And it will be hard during the marriage, because we both have different backgrounds. It would be even more harder when we had kids, and we would endup fussying about what their faith should be. so no, i'm against different cultures/beliefs getting married. it would never work out.

I guess I could be considered a "non practicing christian". So I will answer with yes! They worship the same god and believe in mostly the same tenets. The only difference is the methods of worship. Christians can (and have) marry Muslims.

To my knowledge only male muslims are allowed to wed a person who belongs to another religion. But if I had to marry a muslim girl i would not think twice as long as she loves and respects me.

I am not christian but if I would have been a christian it would have been a problem for me to marry a muslim. When god made human he did not put any tag or did any discrimination its we the people who has made these boundaries and it doesnt makes a difference atleast to me that I am christian and my spouse is muslim or not. Its all about love and not religeon

Why not if I love her.
But, the only condition is I will not be converted to their faith.
Bible has no prohibition for having a wife who does not believe. (I Corinthians 7:12)
