No. But, the LOVE of money is as written in the bible. Money can be used to do good. Just don't love it. Ok?

No, I think many people get this from the Bible, but they don't read it correctly. The Bible says that the LOVE of money is the root of all evil (1 Tim. 6:10) many people get that confused. So no, I don't think money is evil, but loving money, having money be an Idol in your life is the root of evil.. yes.

Money isn't the root of evil... We need some sort of currency to ease the exchange of goods and services. Imagine how difficult it would be function without? Say your trade is a cabinet maker. How would you exchange your wares on a regular basis to obtain food, housing, clothing, etc? You would have to make a product to exchange for each of these items or work on credit for each of these items. But if you sell one of your products (or work at a place that sells the products), you can get money in exchange that you can then go use freely to buy your food, housing, clothing etc. It might make more sense to claim that the unbridled desire for wealth is the root of all evil. I would also suggest though that this is incorrect. It isn't the desire of money that drives people to do bad things. It is the desire for power. Why would someone want for easy money so bad? So they have the power to do as they wish and still have all the material comforts they need. This is why some would lie, cheat, steal, murder, etc. So they can do as they will without having to put forth an equal/fair effort to earn those things.

I heard some said that money is the root of all evil. If we use it the wrong way it think thats the time it will lead to sins or to evil things, but if we use it in helping others like vitims of calamities in different parts of the world its good money. WE work in order to earn money and improve our way of life, its the natural way of using money. We need it to live so we must use it properly.How about you. What can you say?

money is not the root of all evil. the root of all evil is pride. pride is the mother of all sins. and as we now if we sin we committed something evil. so it goes to show that money is just an instrument to promote evilness in the society. imoney is just a thing. it cannot think, it cannot manipulate. but money can give you power and since man is greedy he wants to have power and his want for power is insatiable. because pride, people wants to establish themselves and want to be looked up to and want to have power in order to be praised.
