My husband and I should get a nice return from our taxes as we have 2 children and then we are claiming my father in law. We plan on buying new furniture, paying off some hospital bills (from the new baby) and putting the rest in savings, what are you going to do with your money? Will you get money or will you owe?

We are going to get money back, we make sure of that by claiming 0 on the W-4's. This year we plan on buying a new computer, a new mattress for our sons bed, a new sofa and chair for the living room, an iPod (my late christmas present), a new vacuum cleaner (a dyson) and putting the rest in savings after stocking the pantry and freezer. We always e-file and then have the refund direct deposited in our account.

do you like doing it that way? (e-file?) do you find it's pretty accurate? we haven't decided what we will do yet. Maybe H and R block, but we don't know if it's just a waste of our money or not.

We will get money. We will actually get more than usual I am thinking since we just had a new baby in late Dec. (our 3rd). I am not sure what the money will be used for. We have some debt that I hope my husband will put it towards. I know the girls could use some summer clothes & such. He wants a big screen TV that I am hoping to talk him out of. I could think of so many things more worthwhile to apply $2,000 to.

We are getting a refund. I plan on doing my taxes online. The IRS gives a list of sites that you can do your taxes for free. They will be giving out the list of sites on the 16th. We plan on using our money to pay taxes and other bills.

I'll be getting a tax return this year, but I don't have any children and I'm a full-time student, so I'll be buying new items for my office and putting the rest in savings for a vacation later in the year with my boyfriend . P.S. Congrats on the new baby !!

Usually we get our tax return and pay off a few bills. This year I have to keep a little bit of it to buy my dress for the wedding I'm in.

We should get a return as we have a new baby as a new exemption for this year too. I am not sure what we are going to do with the money. Probably just pay down some of our bills. I hoep we get a good amount back!

Well I try my hardest to get 0 back. I don't want any money and I don't want to owe any money. It's great that you are paying off debt and putting the money in savings.
