Is that feasible for the foreseeable future? You’ll have to excuse me, I’m very suspicious of ‘diets’ or ‘diet’ plans. There’s always a point where you have to stop and most diets don’t deal with the effects afterwards. I’d rather not be living on a ‘point system of calories’ for the rest of my life and instead set forth principles through-out weight loss that I can continue with effortlessly when the time is right at the right weight. Although the thought of maintenance seems almost frightening to me at this point in my journey.

I just lost 50 pounds. I ate various flavors of oatmeal for breakfast with half a banana and a glass of chocolate skim milk. For lunch I had a yoplait light. And for supper we either cooked something low cal or I had a Lean Cuisine meal. I also allowed myself a 100 calorie snack every day. I didn't really exercise, because I was teaching Kindergarten at the time, and that kept me hopping all day without extra exercise.
I'd also suggest you watch The Biggest Loser on NBC on Wednesday nights. It's very inspiring, and they give you tips about losing weight.

By forgetting the rules of a diet. Diets most rely dramatically changing your lifestyle which is more commitment than it needs and less likely in the long term to succeed. Change your lifestyle, realise why you’ve put this weight on and why you need to lose it. I’ve lost 60lb to date, got a good fair few to go, although it’s been a simple mixture of exercise and eating less. I take in about 1000 calories a day, that’s all I need. I go swimming twice a week for two hours, I run (I know, a fat chick running amazing!) each morning I’m not swimming, and I cycle. If you think dropping 50lb is easy you’ll be mistaken, don’t expect it to peel away it won’t.
However it is normal to have a 6-7lb loss within the first few weeks of the change, don’t be disappointed if this drops to around 2-3lb it’s a steady and healthy amount and with exercise you’re more likely to decrease the risk of wrinkly skin.
