Well this one is directed to you winter dwellers. I am curious as to how many of you have winter tires. I think here in the south central BC it is a must. With our road conditions it only makes sense to have a complete set of winters. What do you have and why?

Oh yeah, in the hills of West Virginia, you had better plan on spending the winter at home if you dont have snow tires. The roads stay icy and slick most of the winter. The hills keep the roads from having any sunshine on them so the salt that the state road puts on them, does very little. The interstates are not so bad.

I live down in Florida and of course we don't have great amounts of snow ..is it really a big differece whteher you have "snow tires"?? I am very curious as I can't see what a snow tire is compared to a regular tire , is it like "mud tires" and have more grip ??? I don't have mud tires on my truck now but my old 4x4 nissan I did , but that was mainly for "play" love to go mudding ...lol
