who do you think does well in life

I am an average student in college.I had this thought in mind and would like your opinion.
Who does well in life an average person in studies Or a person who is very studious.
according to me I think people who are average in studies do well in life.

Doing well depends on those who use their head, work hard, persevere and are dedicated to their jobs right till the end. It does not depend on whether you are average or brainy but more so on how far sighted you are. If you are lazy then you have gone for a toss.

Sometimes the average student does better in life because he or she is more rounded. The exception student tends to be too focused on a single subject. The genius may be a great scientist or musician. The average student will grow up and be president of the USA. LOL
