Chinese Pair win Grand Slam

Australian Open is part of the Grand Slam, it is being played out competively being nations in Melbourne as I write this. Zi Yan and Jie Zheng from China defeated the Australian-American double, Samantha Stosur and Lisa Raymond, to record a deserved 2-6, 7-6, 6-3 victory. The match lasted 2 hours and 15 minutes - talk about endurance and fitness. I believe this is the first ever Grand Slam title won by Chinese doubles but no Chinese from China has ever won all four Grand Slam yet. Let's give Li Na some moral support, she will need it. Michael Chang, a Chinese American who won the French Open, was also the first American to do so since 1955. He was the youngest ever to do so at that point. He has since retired from professional tennis. I have been waiting for other Chinese men to jump in and fill his shoes, unfortunately no Chinese rose to the challenge, but Chinese girls excelling in tennis are even better. P.S. Grand Slam = French Open + US Open + Wimbledon + Australian Open P.P.S. The prize money is nowhere near as good as pro-golf, but first prize is around ten millions.
