Questions about Retirement Plans.

Those of you that are enrolled in some type of Retirement Plan, do you receive statements each month or quarterly on how much you are making or putting into your plan or plans? When you first signed up did you receive any kind of confirmation letters or forms? I enrolled in a new plan with my company back in September and have not received anything yet and was wondering how this process works. I keep talking to my HR person and they contacted the Main Office but have received no responses yet.
