Anyone know when the game Spore is to be released?

My hubby and I have been waiting for this game to come out and have not heard when it is to be released. It looks like it is going to be a good game to play.

The release date was supposed to be March 3, 2008. Now I've caught a few tidbits online, but nothing official that I can track, saying it is being pushed back anywhere from April 2008, all the way into 2009. I'm praying that isn't so. The more I read and see on this game, the more I want to play it. I can't wait for it to hit stores.

Hopefully it will be sometime this year. I am really looking forward to playing. I just hope that it is not a big let down. I know so many people that have been waiting for this game to come out and with all the delays it is just getting annoying.

I have seen somewhere that the final release of this game should be released in about 2009!!!
