That really depends on what kind of disability we are talking about. I probably wouldn't start dating someone with a disability, but if my current gf got something I wouldn't break up with her.

Yes, I have tried it. It really depends on the people involved and not so much on their disabilities. I would try it again if I found someone with disabilities that I cared for.
