I really don't think anyone really bothered to research this until the mythbusters did the show on it. Form what I remember of the episode the tests they ran were pretty high tech.

I did not know this or never even though about it. What if you put a duck in a small room? Will it echo then? I am assuming it does not echo since its quack is not loud enough to echo.

Ha ha...I don't know how true the fact is..It came from a fact book.. And it is repeated in many others..so I wonder ..how they all know this;)+
