I was going to make this topic a little back, but I thought I'd wait until it came out everywhere. I saw this movie in a little art theatre that was the only place playing it within a 200mile radius according to movies.com. The place was empty and probably only had 10 people in it. That made the movie so much better. Anyone else seen the movie? It was pretty much the best thing I've seen in a long long time. It reminded me that movies can be funny. It's about a family that has to get from the east coast to california for a beauty pageant. Amazingness insues.

its a great movie i think of a family determined to get their young daughter into the finals of a beauty pageant take a cross-country trip in their VW bus My fav. dialogue being by grandpa that says " Losers are people who are so afraid of not winning, they don't even try"

I really enjoyed it. It seems like independent films are starting to get more exposure where I live. I saw lots of trailers for it, and, to my surprise, it showed up at the local mega-plex. I used to have to go out of my way to see non-mainstream films. The theatre I saw it in was large and about 3/4 full, so I hope this bodes well, for the public getting more to choose from.

I've yet to even hear of it, although the reviews do sound good, I'm tempted to see it.
