Oral Rehydration

I have just recovered from a bout of food poisoning (I won't go into the gory details) and my major hurdle after the stomach cramps was the dehydration. I've encountered dehydration before when my platelet count dropped due to dengue fever. If you know mosquitos, then you must be familiar with dengue. What doctors usually tell us is to drink lots of fluids to rehydrate. I do that but I specifically drink Gatorade as my rehydration solution. What about you? What do you do to rehydrate after getting sick, or even after exercise?

Good for you! I'm not a finicky eater but I usually make sure that what I eat is prepared well. Tough luck, I made a bad decision to eat there that time.
