Stealing "ideas" on mylot? Are you tired of hearing about it?

I am SO tired of seeing rants on here that someone stole or copied their 'idea'. The first day I was on mylot I devised a bunch of topics and entered them. Next thing I know some yo-yo writes in one of my discussions warning others NOT to post there because the topic was "copied" from them! BS!!! As if asking about a choice of candy was a heaven sent dispatch to only one person on earth! Wake up, people and stop crybabying. There are hundreds of ways to ask a question on any topic and Ive seen plenty such "copies" here in mylot that I had answered quite a few whether they were on my friends' network or not!!
Granted, there are some thieves who cut and paste whole discussions word-for-word as their own and thats the exception to the rule. Yes, they should be reported and kicked out of mylot. However, single ideas and topics are not copyrighted. So stop being jealous that someone thought of the same topic you had, but worded it differently and got more responses. Thats life so swallow it. Then go on to another topic and do a better job than the other fellow.

I too am getting tired of the complaints not just about stealing ideas but anything having to do with myLot in general whether it is the rules myLot has set or about the topics being created, the responses given, and all the other complaints having to do with everything that appears in myLot. It almost seems from all the complaining that people do not want to have this site around.

two people can come up with the same subject but like u say, put in in a different way. this is not something i would bother reposrting, however if tha whole text was copied I find it wrong.
There is ALOT of complaining going around on mylot in general these days. i am hopefull that it will dissappear sooner or later =)

hi, thanx for making an intresting topic. well, i do agree with you. i just hope all of us will give a better idea and be honest. don't simply steal the ideas, copy and paste.there are lots of topics that could be discussed here. by having those intresting and quality topics, it will make the discusion even more amusing and the new knowledge could be spread then.
