Camping: Caravan/Recreational Vehicle (RV) or tent?

Do you have to use a motor home (RV) or caravan when you go camping? Or are you adventurous and use a tent in the wilderness? When was the last time you went and for how long?

We tent it! The last time we went camping was in September to the Grand Canyon and Arizona for 8 days.

a long time ago we had a pull camper for a while, but i much prefer tenting when camping...it allows you to experience much more in the way of sights and sounds and even areas that you just can't get any other way..it's been a few years since i've been, but i would like to plan a trip this summer.
