Why organizations choose CISCO Routers ?

well i had seen that whenever it comes to buy router people recommend cisco router ! why is it so ! there are other vendors too ! but why cisco most of the time !
i heard that cisco needs up gradation and its parts are also not available easily once damaged ! then also ! why cisco !!

sir, i think u r new to networking....cisco router most logliness....means it will long last...if ur router got damaged u r caring well I was using 1700 router in dust and worst condition but it working fine from last 5 years.
Also I want to say u that for the best networking results u shud use cisco router..technical cisco is best....of aall

Cisco is now the market leaders, and everyone feels that they are the best out there. It is amazing to think that Cisco was once just a man and a women who built up the company from there garage.
I personally dont think they are much better than the rest of the market but everyone knows the name now, i used to sell training on Cisco KIT such as CCNP and CCNA which is expensice as well Cisco is not cheap.

Cisco has proven its name in the networking industry. They have created ingenious solutions to business-level industries. They are always ever evolving and is highly reputable. =) CISCO is one of the best. =)
